Environmental: At UAL, the environmental dimension focuses on responsible campus operations and awareness of sustainability in healthcare education—reducing waste, supporting proper disposal practices (especially for clinical and laboratory materials), promoting resource efficiency, and encouraging environmentally responsible behavior.

Social: The social dimension reflects how UAL supports people and the wider community. This includes fair and inclusive treatment of students and staff, respect for human rights, diversity and equal opportunity, student wellbeing and support services, safe learning and clinical environments, and strong standards for confidentiality and data protection.

Governance: Governance at UAL relates to how the University is led and managed through transparent rules, ethical decision-making, and effective internal controls. It includes clear responsibilities of governing bodies, integrity in recruitment and evaluation, anti-corruption principles, conflict-of-interest management, and accountability through internal quality assurance and reporting.

Institutional Ethics: UAL fosters an ethical culture that prioritizes academic integrity and professional responsibility—rejecting “results at any cost” and ensuring fairness and respect for all stakeholders.

Responsible Partnerships and Procurement: UAL seeks partnerships and sourcing practices that respect legal and ethical standards, avoiding relationships that conflict with human rights, professional ethics, or patient safety expectations.

Transparency and Accountability: UAL promotes clear communication and responsible reporting on quality, performance, and ethics. Concerns or misconduct can be raised through appropriate channels, with protections against retaliation and a commitment to fair review and corrective action.
